Hello! I’m Jeannin.

a lifelong nerd and avid reader, I write dark fantasy romance infused with magic, angst, yearning, and found family. A devoted mom and healthcare provider, I bring a deep well of empathy and real-world insight to character-driven stories that center mental health representation and LGBTQ+ inclusivity.

Growing up, I read voraciously across fantasy, romance, and even horror, often staying up far too late with a flashlight hidden under my covers. That love of immersive, emotionally charged storytelling now fuels my passion for crafting rich high fantasy worlds where love is complicated, darkness lingers around every corner, and families are formed through bonds forged in tragedy.

When I’m not caring for patients or at my writing desk, I can be found curled up with a good book, drinking a cup of coffee, or chasing my children around. Sometimes all three at once (yes, it’s possible). I am based on the beautiful coast of California with my spouse and two young sons.
